I came to Kate with over 200 photos, 27 paintings, a story, excerpts from other authors and pieces on history, flora and fauna. She had a one week to create something exceptional. Most designers would've been too overwhelmed to even begin a challenge like this in such an unrealistic time frame. Kate faced the challenge with determination.

I had a clear idea of how I wanted my book to look. Kate's fingers flew across the keyboard and and ran the mouse around in circles as she created on the screen what I had pictured in my mind. She worked quickly and with purpose. She has an instinctive eye for balance in design and insists on excellence for each and every page. For me as an artist and author it was important to have a part in the design process. Kate considered my thoughts and ideas and not only tried them but enhanced them. As well as creating my book, she made the effort to impart on me some of the rules and tricks of design.

The finished product is beyond fantastic. I couldn't be happier. I have a beautiful book that I show with pride. It's easy to tell that it is thoughtfully designed. There is balance and interest on every page. The different texts and photos are arranged in a way that flows easily for the reader. Kate has my highest recommendation.
